ABOUT THE COMPANY:-

The story of Sterling is irrevocably entwined with that of its founder, the late Mr. O.P.Ghai. From humble beginnings as a teacher, he stepped into the arena of publishing in the mid forties by establishing University Publishers in Jalandhar, and then Sterling Publishers in mid-sixties. Apart from being the first recipient of the Prakashak Ratna award, he wrote several books of great relevance in today's fast paced world. Mr.O.P.Ghai was the President of the Federation of Publishers and Booksellers Association of India, President of Federation of Indian Publishers, and an Executive Committee member of the International Publishers Association. During his lifetime, he was aided by his son, Mr.S.K.Ghai, in all his diverse plans.

Now Mr.S.K.Ghai has been joined by his sons, Mr.Vikas Ghai and Mr. Gaurav K. Ghai, and together they are moving with the times and taking Sterling to newer heights.
